Exercise Referral Scheme - supporting recovery post COVID-19
How can Guildford Spectrum's Exercise Referral Scheme help you?
COVID-19 has affected people in many ways and for some, the effects have been wide ranging and long-lasting. Guildford Spectrum's Exercise Referral & Weight Management Scheme is now open to all Surrey residents recovering from COVID-19.
Our subsidised, supportive 12-week scheme costs just £75 and includes:
- Unlimited access to a safe, supervised exercise environment
- One-to-one contact with an Exercise Referral specialist instructor qualified in working with individuals recovering from COVID-19
- A personalised activity plan to encourage long-term adherence to physical activity
- Regular contact and check ins with an Exercise Referral instructor to review your progress on the programme
- Access to our follow-on Live Well membership including social group exercise classes
At Guildford Spectrum’s Exercise Referral Scheme, we recognise that recovering from COVID can require a higher level of practical and emotional support along the road to recovery. We will support you to manage the impact of being inactive; the loss of your independence; the fear of overdoing it, and the anxiety that comes with experiencing breathlessness.
