Assessments

Skaters will undertake continual assessments against the criteria set out within the levels of the NISA Level Plan. Once a Skater has demonstrated a satisfactory level of competency in all elements of the criteria then they will be recommended to progress to the next level within the programme (this will be facilitated subject to the availability of suitable space).

Free access to public sessions

This offer is available to all ice skaters enrolled onto our Learn to Skate programme, every Monday to Friday daytime, term time only. This offer is not available on Saturday or Sunday's or for evening sessions.

To access free Skate for All sessions skaters MUST have an active card and the Ice On Course free membership layered onto the active card (this can be done at Customer Services).

Customers MUST pre-book a "zero value" ticket prior to entry into the Ice Rink. Please contact our customer service team on 01483 443322 to do this.

1:1 lessons

These sessions provide children / adults with individual attention and a faster learning rate. They can focus on either specific skating skills / technique or follow the relevant levels in the NISA Level Plan. There is currently a 2 year wait for 1:1 lessons and therefore it is adviseable to join a group lesson to learn to skate.

Face covering information

In accordance with Government and BIS guidelines we ask that all customers wear a face covering while entering the ice rink and using all of the off-ice areas. Face coverings will NOT be mandatory while on the ice, however, customers who wish to wear them may continue to do so if desired. The only exemption to this rule is children under the age of 11 and people who cannot put on / wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability.

We are committed to taking every step necessary to keep our staff and customers as safe as possible and we thank all of you for your support.
