FLAIR Athletes within the Guildford Area

At Guildford Spectrum, Guildford Lido and Ash Manor Sports Centre we run a Freedom Leisure Athlete Investment & Recognition support scheme, also known as FLAIR.

The FLAIR scheme supports athletes that compete at a national level providing FREE access to our facilities to help support their training. Our FLAIR Athletes range in a number of competing sports that are recognised by Sport England and/or Sport Wales from Athletics to Underwater Hockey and Backyard Ultra Running.

Tracey Mills - Triathlete

Tracey competes in Triathlon (sprint and standard distance) and Aquabike (standard distance) events.

Tracey has represented Great Britian (Age Group) at Euopeans and Worlds since 2018.

"My journey in Triathlon started in 2013 at the age of 50 as a result of an unexpected Christmas present – a trisuit. I already had goggles, a bike and some trainers so that saw me entering my first local triathlon and I haven’t looked back.

In 2018 I entered a GB qualifier event as a measure…the rest is history, my GB journey had started, a visit to Estonia, 9th in Europe!

My love of the sport is on many levels the training, friendships made and the places it has taken me too."
