What is Exercise Referral?
Being physically active is important for everyone and the good news is, it’s never too late to begin!
Here at Guildford Spectrum Exercise Referral & Weight Management Scheme we recognise that returning to exercise can require a higher level of practical and emotional support if you have been inactive or have a long-term health condition. Whatever your personal situation, we will guide you through our 12-week scheme with a bespoke programme of supervised activity.
Working in partnership with Surrey County Council, Active Surrey and the NHS, our subsidised, supportive scheme includes:
- Unlimited access to a safe, supervised exercise environment
- One-to-one contact with an Exercise Referral specialist instructor
- A personalised activity plan and support to help you make long-lasting lifestyle changes
- Regular contact and check ins with an Exercise Referral instructor to review your progress on the programme
- Access to our follow-on Live Well membership
