Fitness & Group Exercise Classes
Guildford Spectrum offers a wide range of fitness and group exercise classes for both men and women regardless of age or ability. If you’ve recently joined our gym or are looking to try something new, then group exercise classes are a great addition to your workout.
Our classes allow you to try a different form of exercise, while being guided by a qualified expert and benefiting from the motivation that working out alongside others provides. Whether you’re looking for an aqua class, cardio, dance, holistic or toning session, we have something for everyone.
Each class is led by one of our internationally qualified, highly motivational instructors, who are passionate about what they teach. A number of our classes are led by Les Mills trained instructors, who provide a life-changing workout shaped by science. Each Les Mills instructor receives new music and choreography every 3 months! Water Workout is a type of aerobic exercise that requires you to be immersed in the water. It's a great form of resistance training and is a super friendly low-impact class, which is easy on your joints, perfect for if you're recovering from an injury.
Get your heart rate up in one of our HIIT, Body Combat or Circuit classes. Using a variety of different exercises to work a lot of different muscle groups, find out which class is your favourite.
Group Cycle is the ultimate cardiovascular workout on a bike, that tones and shapes your whole body! Workout with people at different levels of fitness in a upbeat and fun atmosphere.
Dancing is a great way to relieve stress and can help get your blood pumping and keep your heart healthy. Join us for a Zumba or FitSteps class and dance your way to a healthier, happier you!
To some, exercise is more about taking a steady approach to increase flexibility, calm the mind and develop a strong, stable core. Our holistic classes, Yoga, Pilates, Body Balance, Pure Stretch and Barre Concept allow you to do just that.
Join us on the athletics track for our new Run Club. Jog, run or just come along for some light hearted physical activity. Have fun and socialise, all whilst improving your cardiovascular health. All levels of fitness and abilities welcome.
Feel toned, stronger and increase muscle mass with Body Pump, Total Body Workout and Kettlercise. Use weighted exercises with plenty of repetition to give a full body workout and burn loads of calories.
Group exercise classes are a great way to keep motivated in the gym. Once you’re into the swing of a class, it’s also a great way to measure your progress, as doing the same routine allows you monitor how much stronger you get as time passes.

To avoid disappointment we advise that you pre book your class online. You may bring your own exercise mat to all Studio classes.
Fitness & Group Exercise Timetable
Join us in our brand new Wellbeing Studio for classes such as Yoga, Pilates and Body Balance. Located on Level 2 of the building, this studio space is dedicated to wellness classes. It provides a peaceful and calming atmosphere to help you focus and enjoy your class. Yoga mats are provided but you can also bring your own.
Due to high demand we are continuing some of our outdoor classes! Exercising outdoors provides the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy the fresh air whilst improving your fitness. Our new private Studio Garden is located outside the Wellbeing Studio located on Level 2 of the building. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Group Cycle Studio
We are excited to annouce that we have converted our previous Wellbeing Studio into a Group Cycle Studio. Join our motivating instructors for a high-energy, fun workout on a stationary bike. Cleaning equipment is provided to sanitise your bike after use. The studio is located on Level 2 of the building.
