What is Synergy Dance?

Synergy Dance® is a mixed dance, yoga and fitness program for boys and girls (infants, juniors and teens) in schools and leisure centres. They provide dance, yoga and fitness classes, courses, workshops, dance parties, holiday camps and SEND programs.

Class descriptions

Cheerleading with Acrobatics 7+

Cheer warm-up with stretches, cheer routine, cheer combos, cheer games and optional stunts, basic acrobatics, dance acro, and lifts according to ability. Teachers use progression and mindfulness to create beautiful acrobatic routines complemented by up-to-date fun music and cheer moves. If you love Next Steps or dream of being a cheerleader - this class is for you!

Dance Acrobatics 8+

Includes intro to basic dance technique as well as acrobatic postures, balances, limbering, and tumbling skills.

Explore Acro Dance through basic movements such as bear walks, forward rolls, and log rolls and progress to cartwheels, walkovers and handstands. Musicality and performance technique included.

Teachers use progression and mindfulness to transform basic postures, transitions, tumbling, and limbering into beautiful Acro Dance routines to up to date, fun music.

Ballet 4-7 year olds

All children aged 4-7 are welcome to join our fun beginners ballet class! It’s a chance for your child to come and learn the basics of dance in a friendly, non-pressured environment where they can be free to express themselves through ballet and movement - we will learn the simple first steps in a series of relaxed exercises, as well as putting the steps together to create some fun routines at the end of term; a perfect way to introduce your child to dance!

Course descriptions

Synergy SEND Dance

This class is specially designed to support children with visual impairments and/or special needs or disabilities. Our inspiring teacher will help you to keep fit and share your moves in a fun, dance and fitness class.

SEND Yoga

Experience our school Yoga class for teenagers and adults with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities -taught by expert teachers, in liaison with ParaDanceUK and British Blind Sport.

SEND Dance & Yoga 

Join us for a unique dance/yoga combo class to boost well being and fitness! This class includes learning dance routines, with props and creative input by participants. This weekly treat completes with yoga and stretching, mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Children will be able to learn exercises and routines they can also do at home with their family.

Suitable for all levels. Please wear loose comfortable clothing, plimsolls or trainers and bring a bottle of water.
