What is Synergy Dance?

Synergy Dance® is a mixed dance, yoga and fitness program for boys and girls (infants, juniors and teens) in schools and leisure centres. They provide dance, yoga and fitness classes, courses, workshops, dance parties, holiday camps and SEND programs.

Disney Theme Frozen Workshop

Date: Friday 31st May 2024

Time: 2:45 - 3:45pm

Description: Do you love all things Disney and Frozen? Let It Go with us as we explore the scenes and songs from smash hit films Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 and other Disney films. The workshop includes Disney-themed dance and drama games, giant parachute, magic props and our signature snow disco. We offer amazing value for money and an opportunity not to be missed for your child to grow in confidence, learn new skills and make friends.

Glow in the Dark Dance Disco

Date: Friday 31st May 2024

Time: 4:00 - 5:00pm

Description: Get ready to light up with our electrifying Glow in the Dark Street Dance Workshop!

This immersive workshop and its vibrant atmosphere filled with neon lights, glow sticks, and bright colours, will be led by an expert instructor. Your child will learn choreography in the street dance style, focusing on expression, musicality and performance. Dance games and exercises will be included to build confidence and team building skills. The workshop is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to dancers of all levels, providing a supportive environment where participants can feel free to express themselves.

Minions and Mayhem Workshop

Description:
Dance to ‘Happy’ and have ‘Fun, Fun, Fun’ in our Minions-themed dance workshop. Join our army of yellow Minions and join in with exciting dance games and routines based on Despicable Me. The workshop will include, parachute fun ‘Despicable Statues’, ‘Despicable FootSteps’ ‘Battling the Minions’, dance routines and a Snow Disco. The workshop is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to children of all levels, providing a supportive environment where everyone can feel free to express themselves and have fun!

SEND Dance Workshops for Teenagers

Join our SEND holiday workshops which include dance, music and movement, improvisation, musical theatre and imaginative play in acting and dance. These classes will help your teen to build new skills and resilience, improve mental and physical well-being, help reduce chronic pain, and build feelings of confidence, independence and inspiration for the future, through creative expression.

Suitable for teenagers with SEN or a disability. Verbal and non-verbal children are welcome. Classes take place in a relaxed setting with props and PECS cards to support structure and signposting in class. Siblings welcome.

Make new friendships and connect with other local families. We will use feedback and learning to shape future projects. Tell us your favourite songs prior to class.

**If your child has one-to-one support during school time, a parent or carer will be required to provide support during the session**
