Charity of the Year 2020

Do you know or work for a Surrey based charity that would like to be our Charity of the Year 2020?

We'd like to hear from charities that would benefit from a partnership with us and that we can support this year through our Active Gifts scheme. We partner up with a local charity each year and make a donation of activity tickets to their cause. The partnership is supported through the generosity of Spectrum's customers who donate unwanted points from their Active loyalty card which are then converted into activity tickets.

2020 will be the 14th year of running the Charity of the Year partnership.  Spectrum has previously worked with Christophers Smile, Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, Challengers, Shooting Star, Guildford Action, The Fountain Centre, Cherry Trees, Home-Start, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Jigsaw South East who all do exceptional work supporting the local community.

Guildford Spectrum Area Manager, Steve May says, “This scheme is a fantastic way for us to help make a difference to some of the many worthy charities within our community. Everybody benefits from time relaxing with friends and family, and we would like our donation to go to those who are most in need.”

The process to become Spectrum's charity partner is pretty simple. The only qualifying criteria is that the charity can make good use of the activity tickets that are provided and they are used by people who really need them and would benefit from a nice family day out.
