Family Time
Runs at weekends between 11.00am and 1.00pm. Its a gentle session and therefore hockey skates are not permitted, figure & rental skates only.
Penguin Skating Aids

Simply Skate
Sessions are on Monday, Tuesday (figure & rental skates only) and Wednesday evenings and are a relaxing skate with music. Also on Tuesday evenings there is a 15 minute dance interval at 9.15pm.
Ice Cool Classics
Thursday evenings is a session with a DJ who plays classic hits and special requests.
The Big Deal Ticket
10 sessions for £37.20. Ony 1 person per session admitted with this ticket. This ticket does not include skate hire. This ticket must be used for public skating sessions within the 6 weeks expiry date shown.

Tenpin Bowling is a fantastic game that anyone can play. Spectrum has 32 lanes which incorporate a computerised scoring system and automatic pin-setting equipment. Bowling shoes are available for hire and a choice of weights of bowling ball are included in the game fee. Bumpers and ramps are also available for those who need a little more help! League and Tournament Bowling
Spectrum Bowl has an extensive League and tournament programme for bowlers who enjoy a high standard of competition, or who want to improve their game. For more information on league or tournament play please email bowl@guildfordspectrum.co.uk
Thursday Morning League
This is a fun league open to everyone over 16 years of age. It is held weekly on Thursday mornings between September and June. Matches are played 10am - 12noon and lineage is £7.00 for each person bowling (this includes shoe hire and a free drink). Any person or new team interested in joining the League will be very welcome and should pop down on Thursday.
Wednesday League
The Wednesday Doubles League is a BTBA sanctioned handicap doubles league that rolls off every Wednesday at 7.15pm. All types of players are catered for, from beginners to the more experienced, with everyone having a good chance as the handicap system used is a great leveller.

Spectrum Pools - FAN-SPLASH-TIC!
Spectrum has a magnificent complex of four pools with a variety of sessions for beginners and splashers, to serious swimmers and divers.
Pool Safety - Please read before your visit.
All children under nine years of age must be accompanied in the water by an adult, only two children under nine years to every adult. When both children are under four years of age a ratio of one adult to one child is required. NB During a toddler splash session, children aged under 4 can be accompanied by an adult on a one adult to two children basis. An adult is someone aged 16 and over. Please inform the lifeguard if anyone in your group suffers from a medical condition. e.g. epilepsy. There is disabled visitor access to all pools and two chair hoists are available to gain access to the competition pool. Please do not hesitate to ask if you require assistance.
Leisure Pool
The Leisure Pool is an exciting area with fun features including flumes, a tyre ride, bubble beds, sprays and a wave machine. You can also race your friends on the Surf, our 3 lane slide.
During busy times a coloured band system operates in the leisure pool. A minimum of 90 minutes is allocated to your visit to the Pools subject to opening hours.
At peak times the wave machine operates for five minutes in every thirty.
During off-peak sessions the wave machine operates for five minutes once an hour. The Whizz and and Surf slides are not available during off-peak times.
Slide Height Guidelines
For The Surf and Aqua Whizz, riders must be over 1 metre tall to use the slide. For the Ramp, riders must be under 1 metre tall to use the slide.
Private Hire
The leisure pool is available for private hire on Friday and Saturday nights. [Click here] for more details.
Parties

NPLQ
Guildford Spectrum runs a number of Royal Life Saving Society, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification courses each year. The courses run Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm with an exam on the Saturday.

This area has a wide range of the latest cardio vascular machines and resistance equipment, designed to tone, shape and strengthen your body. Incorporated into the gym area is cardio theatre. This concept means by plugging headphones into the CV machines you can listen to the radio channel of your choice or tune in and watch your favourite soap or sports programme, while you exercise. A unique upper level extension that has views over the athletics track adds another dimension to the gym environment.

The Aroma Room
Relax in a warm room with the aromas of lavendar, rosemary or pine. The normal operating temperature is a comfortable 30 - 35 degrees centigrade, making the aroma room the ideal choice for those who find conventional sauna bathing too hot - relaxation not perspiration!
The Steam Room
Tiled in luxury ceramics and porcelain with benches carved from solid granite. Steam is produced by the latest steam generation systems, offering precise and accurate control of temperature to ensure a good supply of steam is always available.
The Monsoon Shower
The ultimate shower experience! Thermostatically controlled hot or invigoratingly cold water finished with mosaic tiled walls.
Sunbeds
At energy level we have both horizontal (lay down) and vertical fast tan sunbeds. Sunbeds are available Monday - Thursday 7am - 10pm, Friday 7am - 9.40pm and Saturdays and Sundays 8.40am - 8.20pm.
Vertical sunbeds are £4.00 for 3 minutes, £6.50 for 6 minutes and £9.20 for 9 minutes. Multi ticket are also available for vertical tanning. To book your sunbed session please call energy level on 01483 443355.

What is HealthTrack?
Here at energy level we recognise how important it is to exercise on a regular basis to achieve ones health and fitness goals. Regular contact with our team will ensure that you stay motivated and on the path to success.
It is a simple yet effective system to ensure that you make the most of your membership, making it fun and enjoyable.
How does it work?
HealthTrack will ensure that your fitness goals will be given the best possible chance of success. You will receive four contacts with your personal instructor in the first 12 weeks, to help build your confidence and establish positive exercise habits. It will start off with an orientation to discuss your goals and familiarise you to the gym, followed by an appointment to design your programme, followed by another two appointments to assess your progress and motivation.

Spectrum Fitness and Group Exercise - Step, Tone and Dance Your Way to Fitness!
Spectrum offers a wide range of fitness and group exercise, dance and water based exercise classes, suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The action suite is Spectrum's purpose built aerobics hall. The suite is the ideal 
home for our programme of over thirty classes. Steps, mats and hand weights are provided.

All classes are taught by professional instructors with recognised qualifications. They can help and advise on how to achieve your fitness objectives.
Levels of Intensity
All classes are suitable for all levels of fitness but may vary in complexity. Participants are invited to work at their own level with low impact alternatives incorporated into most sessions.
General Class Information
Participants are recommended to arrive promptly as the warm-up section is vital to the safety of the class. The instructor may refuse admission to participants arriving after this section is completed.
Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn.

Xtreme Activate
Xtreme Activate is a fun packed day that will entertain and challenge young children. This exciting holiday course is split into two different age groups (5 - 8 years and 9 - 12 years) and then further to groups of 16 children to two coaches.
Summer Holidays: Monday 27th July - Thursday 27th August
Xtreme Activate runs from 10am to 4pm, Monday - Friday at a cost of £19.50 per day (£88.00 for 5 days). Monday 24th August - Thursday 27th August, 4 days at a cost of £70.00.
Xtreme Activate Xtra runs from 8.30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday at a cost of £27.00 per day (£122.00 for 5 days). Monday 24th August - Thursday 27th August, 4 days at a cost £98.00.
Children attending Xtreme Activate take part in activities such as ice skating, bowling, swimming (for children 9 years +), exploring Specky's Pirate Ship (for the younger ages), trampolining, track time and arts and crafts - please see descriptions below. With such an array of activities, a great time will be had by all.

[Ice Skating]
This activity gives children a wonderful opportunity to gain a taste of skating if inexperienced or a chance to brace the ice with their skills for the more experienced. The younger ages will be able to skate with the knowledge that they will have their own sectioned off area of the ice so more focus and emphasis can be given by the activity coaches, whereas the older ages will be able to whizz around with the public during a normal session.

Bowling]
We provide one full game of bowling. Children can test their skills against each other to try and achieve the highest score possible, knowing that they are up against watchful eyes from the other Activators!!!
[Swimming]
For the older age group only (9 years +). Children will be able to experience the thrills of the Leisure Pool. Coaches will also be in the water to keep a watchful eye. All slides are available to use as well as the spa area and wave pool. But beware.... the challenge is when the waves are on!
[Specky's Pirate Ship] 
For the younger age group only (under 9 years). The four levelled Pirate Ship provides a safe and inviting environment for children to explore through its slides, swings, ball ponds, netting and much more to conquer victorious. Navigate through the ship to catch animals and fellow Activators. Remember.... the treasure is never far!!!
Trampolining
Bouncing on one of our full sized trampolines will allow children to improve their co-ordination whilst having fun. Taking part in a variety of games and learning new skills and tricks on the trampoline will give them an edge over their friends.
Track Time
Activities and games down on the Athletics Track allows children to get some fresh air, whatever the weather. Such games as rounders, touch rugby, splat and games with the rope and parachute. These fast, frantic and enjoyable games will improve team playing ability and trying to get an edge over the opponent. Watch out though, there may be some instances where winning can result in forfeits!
Arts and Crafts
During Arts and Crafts, we like to celebrate individuality. All children think differently, so why not get them started with free play. Whilst being given a specific theme, children can explore into the world of their powerful imagination to create something spectacular to take home at the end of the day.

To guarantee that your child enjoys their time at Xtreme Activate they will need to bring the following;
For security purposes, the registration form requires a password. This password will need to be given to staff when the parent/guardian collects the child. The Xtreme Activate Superviser will keep the password secure. If the password is forgotten the Supervisor will need to be notified and a new password recorded.

Pre-Voyage checklist
All pirates aged 8 and under must be supervised by an adult who may remain in the departure dock, or join the pirates on their adventure if they feel brave enough. (Max 3 children per adult) Whilst happy to be of assistance, we must stress that the accompanying adult is responsible for the little pirates in their care.

Funtime Pool Party
Make a splash with a Spectrum Funtime Pool Party, you will have exclusive use of our Teaching Pool and a dedicated lifeguard. It's a pool party with a difference, we provide mats, balls, surfboards and organised games. Funtime pool parties are only available at weekends for 4 to 8 year olds. 1 supervising adult must be present for every 3 children under 9 years old (supervisors will gain free entry to the pool). Ice Skating
You and your friends can really cut the ice at Spectrum where you will enjoy 45 mins. of fun and games with one of our friendly ice hosts. Jam, Bop & Boogie Party

Tenpin Bowling
A chance to bowl your friends over with a party in Spectrum's 32 lane tenpin bowling centre. Bounceabout Party
You and your friends can enjoy a fun-filled hour of running, playing games and most of all bouncing at the Bounceabout Party. Specky's Pirate Ship
Climb, tumble, crawl and fall at a Specky's Pirate Ship Party. Come and have a soft play adventure with one of our party hosts who will lead you and your friends around the safe paradise where you will play games including find the buried treasure. Parties cater for up to 20 children aged 3-10 years and are available Thursday - Sunday. Weekday price £79.30 weekend price £91.00. Gymnastics Party
Cartwheel around and celebrate your special day under the fully supervised care of our gymnastics coach for an hour of games, balancing and rolling around. Instructors will lead you over the equipment teaching you challenging and exciting gymastics skills. Parties are only available Saturdays for 6 to 12 year olds. Up to 12 children £107.70, up to 18 children £124.40. Party food can be organised in Costa Coffee, Trattoria and Burger Xpress.

Includes 2 games of tenpin bowling, shoe hire, balloons on your lane, tables behind the lanes for drinks and fun certificates for the highest and lowest scores.
Strikeout £15.40 per head
This party includes everything from have a ball plus a party host for the duration of the party, a disposable camera (one per pair of lanes), fun prizes for the highest and lowest scores and a trophy for the winning team.
Kingpin £17.40 per head
Includes everything from the Strikeout party, plus a disposable camera (one per lane) and a private venue for your post bowling buffet with a bar runner.

The Leisure Pool is available to hire for children's parties, work events or any other celebration you can think off.
Hire includes exclusive use of the leisure pool for up to 50 people, use of the aqua whizz, flume, tyre ride, spa and water features for the duration of the party, 2 wave machine sessions and use of the surf slide for the last 30 minutes of the party. Your party will be fully supervised by our qualified lifeguards.

Safety Information
All children under the age of 9 must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Only two children under 9 to every adult. All children under 4 years of age must be accompanied in the water on a 1 adult to 1 child basis. An adult is someone aged 16 or over.

The Lido is one of Guildford’s hidden treasures. Tucked away next to Guildford College and 1 minute from the A3, it is one of the country’s few remaining original 1930’s pools. The Lido attracts an average of 60,000 people every season and is home for a variety of community galas, competitions and other community clubs and societies.

Guildford Lido is the home of Guildford’s first Sports & bodybuilding gym. It caters for all athletes, especially strength athletes, fitness enthusiasts and people who want to remain fit and toned. The Workshop Gym is equipped with over 30 pieces of equipment, is fully air-conditioned and offers free parking.
The Workshop Gym complements the existing facilities at the Lido and memberships of the ‘Workshop Gym’ include free use of the Lido during its summer opening hours.
