 Guildford’s open-air pool, the Lido, is open during the summer season from May to September. Set in 4½ acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and heated to 24 degrees centigrade, the Olympic sized pool is a great place to chill out, meet friends, picnic and of course, do some serious swimming!
The Lido is one of Guildford’s hidden treasures. Tucked away next to Guildford College and 1 minute from the A3, it is one of the country’s few remaining original 1930’s pools. The Lido attracts an average of 60,000 people every season and is home for a variety of community galas, competitions and other community clubs and societies.
