Sport at Guildford Spectrum - Something for Everyone!

Spectrum is the ideal venue for a wide range of indoor and outdoor sporting activities. Whether you want to be part of a team, have coaching or just spectate, Spectrum has the sport for you.

Virtually all major sports can be catered for at Spectrum. A wide range of track and field events are also available plus many more including gymnastics, martial arts and fencing.

Sports Arena
The superb 1300m2 Sports Arena has a semi sprung beech wood floor and has seating for up to 1500 spectators. With capacity for up to ten badminton courts; two 5-a-side football pitches; two basketball courts; two volleyball courts or a combination of these. The Action Suite
The Action Suite is a multi-use hall with a mirrored wall and an integrated sound system. The Suite is designed primarily to accommodate Spectrum's varied range of exercise classes and aerobic sessions.

The Athletics Stadium
This international standard 400 metre all weather athletics track with eight lanes, has terraced seating for 800 spectators.  Spectrum's Athletics Stadium is the perfect venue for track and field events for clubs, schools, teams and individuals. Outdoor Football Pitch
Located in the centre of the Athletics track is a full sized and floodlit grass pitch that is home to Guildford City Football Club.  Visit Guildford City website.

Squash Courts
Spectrums three squash courts are located adjacent to the Sports Arena. One of the courts has a glass back and all three have semi-sprung beech floors.

Martial Arts
Guildford Spectrum offers instruction in several different martial arts these include Karate, Tae-Kwon Do, Savate (french kickboxing), Tai Ju Tsu Kai, Wingtsun Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan and American Kickboxing. Please click here for more information.
