Spectrum Ice - The Coolest Place to have Fun!
Guildford Spectrum houses an Olympic sized ice rink which is used by thousands of people each week. Whether you are an experienced ice dancer or a wannabe Flames player, Spectrum Ice is available all year round for you!  

 
Saturdays; Family Time 11.00am - 1.00pm* (suitable for families and our young skaters), Skate for All session 2.00pm - 4.30pm (suitable for all skaters)

Sundays; Family Time 11.00am - 1.00pm* (suitable for families and our young skaters), Skate for All Ice Disco session 2.00pm - 4.30pm (suitable for all skaters)

Penguin Skating Aids
Penguin shaped skating aids are available to hire on the day on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be advised we have a limited number available and they are hired in 15 minute sessions.  At peak times the penguins are very popular with our younger visitors and as we currently only have 15 penguins they may not always be available during your visit.  Please click here for further details.  

Helmets
We recommend that children wear a helmet whilst on the ice. Adults can also wear helmets but they are available on a first come, first served basis. We don't have enough for every skater. Therefore if you have a cycle helmet with a chin strap bring that with you.

Skate Hire
Please note that our ice skates available from Skate Hire range from a child size 6 to an adult size 14.

Simply Skate
Sessions are on Monday, Tuesday (figure & rental skates only) and Wednesday evenings and are a relaxing skate with music. Also on Tuesday evenings there is a 15 minute dance interval at 9.15pm.

Ice Cool Classics
Thursday evenings is a session with a DJ who plays classic hits and special requests.

The Big Deal Ticket
10 public skating sessions for £45.00.  Only 1 person per session admitted with this ticket.  This ticket does not include skate hire.  This ticket must be used for public skating sessions within the 6 weeks expiry date shown. Ticket for 1 adult or 1 junior.  


Bowl and Skate Combo - Now available Monday to Thursday evenings and Wednesday & Thursday tea times.
£10.50 (inclusive of shoe and skate hire) Skating and Bowling combination - 1 game of Tenpin Bowling plus Ice Skating session. 
Ice Skating available;  Monday to Thursday evenings (from 8.30pm) and Wednesday and Thursday Teatime sessions (4.45pm - 6.15pm) .
Bowling available; Monday to Thursday evenings after 6pm

Howzat - Ice Skating Shop
The Ice Skating Shop opening hours are;
Monday 1pm - 6pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 1pm - 7.30pm, Thursday 1pm - 6pm, Friday 1pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 9pm and Sunday 11am - 9pm.  Their contact telephone number is 01483 443343

Skate Grinding 
Hockey Skates can be sharpened Monday to Sunday, 9.00am to 9.00pm.  Figure Skates can be left at any time, they will be sharpened on a Monday evening and can be collected from Tuesday onwards.  For more information about skate grinding please speak to a member of the Ice Team at Skate Hire.  Please pay for skate grinding at Main Reception, £6.50 per pair.   

Ice Dance Club
Tuesdays 7.30-8.30pm. £5.00 per session or £7.20 to include Simply Skate session

Training Ice
Gives ice dancers and figure skaters the ability to use the ice in a less busy session. Click here for more details.

The Guildford Flames
Spectrum is home to the Premier Cup and League Champions 2011-2012 - The Guildford Flames. Playing from September to April, a Flames match is action-packed, full of drama and an exciting night out for the family.
