LEARN - A weight loss programme that works! |
A new you for 2010...
Spectrum has the secret on how to stay focused on losing weight with the American Weight Loss programme called LEARN.
The programme helps you take control of your life and eating habits and gives you the tools to continue a healthy lifestyle that's fun and very effective. LEARN helps you understand the psychological side of "why we just can't do it" and, with the support of the energy level team, helps you get results.
Previous course attendees have seen a 100% success rate, with everyone losing a stone or more!
The LEARN programme starts on Monday 15th March and runs once a week for 10 weeks at a cost of £70. We will also include 10 weeks energy direct + membership for the duration of the programme, which will give you access to energy level gym & spa, all group exercise classes, swimming and racquet sports.

Get swimming and support Marie Curie! |

We are encouraging swimmers to support Swimathon, the UK's largest sponsored swim event which takes place at Spectrum on the evenings of 16th and 17th April with the aim of raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Last year we had one of the highest numbers of participating swimmers in the country and this year we are determined to hit the number one spot!
Swimathon is open to everyone, inviting people to set their own personal challenge by accomplishing a distance of their choice. These include the ultimate 5K challenge, which requires at least six weeks of training; the 2.5 K, perfectly challenging for the intermediate swimmer; and the 1.5K for anyone who swims occasionally. For those interested in joining forces with friends, colleagues or family, the 5K challenge can also be completed as part of a team of up to five people or, if you prefer to do it all at your own pace, join the Simply Swim challenge, which allows you to cover any distance at any time.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is one of the UK's largest charities. Employing more that 2,700 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, it expects to provide care to around 27,000 terminally ill patients in the community and in its hospices this year and is the largest provider of hospice beds outside the NHS.
